Photographed here before commissioning, this MCD8-100 is the first unit for a new ready mix company, operated by a Lincolnshire Construction Company.
The company had previously purchased a similar unit mounted on a Mack chassis(see Case Study 1), and were so impressed with its performance and operating costs, they decided that this specification would be ideal for local deliveries and on-site contract working.
The mixer is fitted to a Scania chassis, which was chosen together with its striking colour, to give the new company a high profile image with excellent local promotional advantage.
